Dr Adrian Plaskitt

I studied medicine here at Newcastle University and gained my FRACGP in 2002. I have worked in Newcastle and surrounds for most of my working life. 

At present i divide my time between Stockton and several other practices in the Hunter Valley.

I have level 2 training in Mental Health, and have an interest in hypnosis, podcasting and helping people to stop smoking. You can access my stop smoking and relaxation exercises here, and an article I wrote about mental health here. 

Billing Policy

I aim to bulk bill everyone who sees me regularly. In order to do this, if you have a chronic illness it is important that you attend every 3-6 months for a review, so that we can keep on top of your health issues and make use of the enhnaced primary care (EPC) medicare scheme.

Patients who attend only occasionally will be bulk billed if you have a health care card, or privately billed if you are employed (But always ask if you are financially stressed - I can always bulk bill if needs be.) For information on private billing hit the "fees and charges" button above.
